Columbus Classic 2015

ARCHIVES ARE NOW ONLINE

The Columbus Metropolitan Tennis Organization invites you to Columbus, Ohio for its annual Columbus Classic Tennis Tournament.  This year, more than 95 players from Texas, Florida, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Indiana . . . and even Canada & Japan . . . participated at Wickertree Tennis Club for competition in the Open, A, B, C & D divisions (Singles and Doubles) and for the first time Men's 40+ Division.  Volunteers, players and supporters also raised almost $3,000 for their charity Buddy Up Tennis (the largest donation to date for the CMTO.

CMTO is also proud to announce that the Columbus Classic 2016 will be a GLTA Master Series Event so expect even more players, more competition and more fun for next year.  Miss some of the LIVE action that happened this weekend?  Check out some of the game arches by following the link below.

 Capital Classic XXIII - Sept 12 - 14

The Capital Tennis Association invites you back for a 3rd year in a row to watch exciting Men's tennis action in the 23rd Annual Capital Classic held at the East Potomac Tennis Center in Washington, DC.

Last year, 158 players from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Spain, India & Ireland competed in Men's Singles and Doubles for the Open, A, B, C and D Division.  Will last year's #1 seed Jon Guerrica return and win the Men's Open Finals?  Will #3 seed Dwight Kornbluth have another upset Finals win in the Men's A Finals?  Will the team of Jason Mockyen and Stefan Vongxay  battle their way to another B Doubles final's win?  Tune in to live coverage starting on Saturday, Sept 12th at 9am EDT thru Monday, Sept. 14th to find out.

Folsom Soccer Tournament - Sept 26

Soccer is the most watched & most popular sport on the CCE Sports Network.  So we are excited to add the San Francisco Spikes' Folsom Weekend Soccer Tournament to the CCE Sports Network schedule this year.  This is the 3rd annual event hosted by the SF Spikes and will contain 3 days of fun, education and competition San Francisco style.

Join us on September 26 as we stream a full day of soccer with more teams and more players than ever before.  In addition, on September 25th we will also live stream the panel discussion "A New Era in Openness-LGBT Soccer in the U.S." sponsored by the Commonwealth Club and the National Center For Lesbian Rights.

We are excited to be working alongside the San Francisco Spikes to bring you more soccer in 2015.

Capital Sports TV - Episode 11

 

Back in 2013, there was over crowding in the local LGBT rugby teams and the Washington Scandals were formed to give more people a chance to play the sport of rugby.  Today we are at Rosemary Hill's Lyttonsville Park to watch the Washington Scandals take on the Dover Jesters.

The Capital Sports TV is a presentation of the CCE Sports Network - the nation's only live web streaming website for the gay and lesbian sports community.  Our mission is to travel around the country bringing you the best in the Gay and Lesbian sports experience by live streaming many of the more than 200+ sports tournaments, matches and games that occur across the United States.
